Thank you so much for the very entertaining evening at Bourne for the NSPCC. We do hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Gosberton District news column Lincs Free Press Tues Oct 20th 2015.

' ......Entertainment for the evening was provided by the Spalding Ukulele Orchestra. Members learned the origins of the name of the instrument, along with lots of interesting ukulele facts. No microphones were required as the band played and sang their way through lots of well known and varied pieces of music. There were many toes tapping and vocal chords stretched in the audience as members joined in the fun. In the harvest produce auction which followed, many of the band members helped to 'up' the bidding. In the subsequent raffle many of the prizes also went to band members. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.'

Hello Folks, Thank you very much for last nights concert. We, including my friend Linda from Australia, thoroughly enjoyed it. Your rendition of Elvis Presley's 'Can't help falling in love with you' was just mind blowing. The dynamics and harmonies were just fantastic. Congratulations. Thank you also for dedicating it to myself and my very dedicated team of volunteers who deliver Meals on Wheels in Bourne Monday to Friday in all weathers!!

Keep up the good work and continue to enjoy what you are doing. It's greatly appreciated. There is a great atmosphere at your concerts and everyone leaves with a smile on their face.....thank you Smiling face with smiling eyes. From one devoted fan.....Alison Plumley

At a recent rehearsal the Ukulele Orchestra of Spalding were pleased to meet June Spouncer, charity fund raiser and speaker for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Maggie and her hearing dog Rupert came along too and thanked the UOofS for a donation of £400 to go towards training for more canine helpers. The Ukulele Orchestra of Spalding put on a great performance for us at the 2017 King’s Lynn Festival.  Performing as the first act in the Festival on our new open air stage, they really set the tone for a fantastic two weeks.  The group of over 20 players were full of enthusiasm, fun and were fantastic players performing a superb array of sing-a-long classics and family favourites which had the audience joining in at every opportunity.  The group also entertained the audience in the Corn Exchange foyer, welcoming them to one of our free concerts.  I would heartily recommend this highly organised and professional group and would readily book them again for a similar event!
